Paris, Tenn.–The Paris Kiwanis Club donated $10,000 to the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction today–the proceeds of last year’s Mexican dinner. The check was presented in honor of the late Fred McLean, who was a long-time Helping Hand auctioneer and supporter, as well as a long-time Kiwanis member. McLean himself also donated $2,000 to Helping Hand. A record-breaking total of $25,741 was raised Monday, the first day of the auction, much of which was donated in McLean’s honor.
