Union City,, Tenn.–The Union City Middle School girls’ and boys’ basketball teams held their season-ending team banquets recently.
Head coaches Chris Palmer and Bill Kail recognized members of their respective squads and handed out individual accolades to several standouts for the 2022-23 season.
The UC girls finished their campaign with a 16-5 record, while the Tornado boys were 12-8.
Among the award winners for the Lady Tornadoes were:

Annie Beth Cruce, Highest GPA; Blair McKinnis, Best Defense; Alaja Crawford, Coaches Award; Uriah Davis, Most Rebounds; Sh’Nyla Moss, Best Offense & Tornado Award; Chloe Hubbard, Most Improved; Ja’Miyah Morris, Coaches Award.
