
BUCHANAN, Tenn. – Diann McGuire, litter grant coordinator of Keep Paris/Henry County Beautiful, was honored with Keep Tennessee Beautiful’s Love Where You Live Award. Keep Tennessee Beautiful Executive Director Missy Marshall made the presentation during the 2023 Keep Tennessee Beautiful Month and Great American Cleanup Kick-off event, held at The Lodge at Paris Landing State Park. John Deberry, senior advisor to Gov. Bill Lee, brought the keynote address at this year’s event, which marks the 40th Anniversary for Keep Tennessee Beautiful
McGuire is a champion of litter prevention and recycling in Paris/Henry Country, leading the county’s Keep Tennessee Beautiful affiliate organization as an anti-litter, pro-beautification advocate. McGuire’s successful achievements include leading community clean-up events, joining Keep the Tennessee River Beautiful organization as a litter clean-up partner, and championing Henry County’s robust recycle program and solid waste prevention efforts.
Keep Tennessee Beautiful Month and the Great American Cleanup help accomplish the mission of KTnB: to educate and inspire Tennesseans to take action every day to improve and beautify their community environment.
