Paris, Tenn.–Paris Police are still seeking the driver of the stolen car which slammed into a downed tree on Dunlap Street. The accident occured at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, March 4. Assistant Police Chief Ean Reed said the tree (and power lines) fell down across Dunlap Street first and the driver then slammed into the tree. “We got a call about a tree falling and then about seven minutes later, we got the call about the car running into it,” Reed said. The driver of the car then took off running. “We’ve been looking at video from door cameras and trying to identify the driver”, he said, “but at this point, she’s still at large”.
