A Buchanan woman has been arrested following a series of thefts in Henry County and Calloway County, Ky.
Kelly Richardson, age 23, has been charged with third degree burglary by Calloway County deputies and is the first of suspects that law enforcement expects to arrest.
In the overnight hours of February 8, Calloway County deputies responded to an alarm at Check Mart at 200 Main St in Hazel. Subjects were captured on camera forcing entry into gas station and removing cash, vape pens and other items.
Calloway County deputies were aware that the Henry County Sheriff’s Office also had a similar burglary. Working together, information was gathered, and multiple individuals were suspected in both break ins.
On Mar 14, 2023 one of the suspects was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Jail. The investigation continues in relation to the additional subjects that participated in the crime.
