Benton County, Tenn.–The Benton County teen who went missing over a week ago has been found.
Sheriff Kenny Christopher said Aaliyah Whitehead was found cold and hungry early this morning but otherwise was not injured. She is 14 and walked away from her home early last week.
Christopher told RadioNWTN that she was found around 3 a.m. “and is ok”.
She reportedly was found in a wooded area near Kentucky Lake, not far from her home.
Law enforcement, including the TBI and Madison County Fire Department, joined in the search for her since her disappearance.
She has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
