
Paris, Tenn.–A Henry County Circuit Court Jury convicted a Paris man on rape charges after a one-day trial.
Joshua Lee Enoch, age 40, was convicted on all counts: two counts of rape and one count of aggravated statutory rape. He was arrested in January.
At the conclusion of the all-day trial, the jury began deliberations around 4:10 p.m. and arrived at the verdict around 5:15 p.m.
Circuit Court Clerk Mike Wilson said sentencing is set for 9 a.m. May 5.
Judge Bruce Griffey presided over the trial, with Assistant District Attorney Morgan Crocker appearing for the state and Clarksville Attorney Jacob Mathis serving as Enoch’s attorney.
