MARTIN, Tenn. – Because of continuous rain looming in the forecast throughout the day tomorrow, the University of Tennessee at Martin and SIUE baseball series schedule has been shifted to include a doubleheader on Saturday, April 1. The first of two 9-inning games will begin at 1 p.m.
Game 1 of the series was originally set for Friday but rain is expected to douse the Martin area later this evening and not let up until 11 p.m. tomorrow. Saturday’s twinbill will be the sixth doubleheader of the 2023 campaign and second in as many Ohio Valley Conference weekends.
Sunday’s series finale between the Skyhawks and Cougars will remain as scheduled with a 1 p.m. start time.
