mck-easter-egg-2

McKenzie, Tenn.–Saturday’s Easter Egg Hunt in McKenzie will proceed as planned, but the helicopter drop of Easter eggs may not. That will depend on the weather.
Organizers said, “The Helicopter flying is questionable at this time, we are in contact with the pilot, but we will not jeopardize anyone’s safety. The hunts will still take place at the scheduled times.”
There will be 50,000 Easter eggs, prizes, vendors, balloon twisting, crafts, bouncy houses, and the Easter Bunny with lots of candy.  The event is free.
The event begins at 9 a.m. at the McKenzie City Park. The helicopter drop was planned for 9 a.m., with 0-2 kids at 9:30, followed by 3-4 at 10 a.m., 5-7 at 10:30 and 8-10 at 11 a.m.
