Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Leadership is sponsoring an Adoption Day at the Atkins-Porter Dog Park in Paris, from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, April 15. The AP Dog Park is at 301 S. Highland (corner of Walnut and Highland).
They also are sponsoring a pet food drive, which runs through April 15. Donations may be taken to several drop off locations: Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Joe Mahan Ford, Moody Realty, TCAT, First Bank, and Dynamix. The public is asked to donate to ente for drawings: one entry, $20 donation; one entry, any food donation; two entries, 40 pounds or more of food.
The pet food drive will benefit the Henry County Sheriff’s Animal Shelter and the city of Paris Animal Shelter.
The Adoption Day will include games, food, Paris Fire truck, giveaways and petting zoo at the A-P Dog Park.
