Murray, Ky.–A pedestrian was killed in a late night accident in Murray.
At 11:30 p.m. Monday, the Murray Police Department, Murray/Calloway Ambulance Service, and Murray Fire Department responded to an accident involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian on South 12th Street between Main Street and Poplar Streets.
The driver indicated they were traveling northbound on South 12th Street in the left hand lane, and did not see the pedestrian crossing the street and struck them with their vehicle. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
The Murray Police Department is continuing this investigation.
