Union City, Tenn.–Union City Police are seeking a suspect who had a unique way of stealing items Sunday night from Wal-Mart–by using a mountain bike he stole from the store to transport his stolen items from the store. And while he was at it, he put on a jacket he stole from a shelf.
Police said the individual entered the store with a shopping cart and backpack around 8 p.m. The unknown black male began placing items in the cart, took a coat from a shelf and put that on. The suspect then took a Trekking Riverside Mountain bike from the toy department.
After loading the backpack with stolen items, he rode the bike out of the door by the automotive section.
In all the items included a tent, jacket, bike and numerous other items valued at $290.
