Martin, Tenn.–Martin Police are investigating a shooting death which occurred Saturday.
Martin Police responded to the area of 406 N. Lindell St. around 5:19 p.m. on a report of a disturbance.
Assistant Police Chief Phillip Fuqua said, “During this response, officers located a victim that was deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.”
The Martin PD Criminal Investigations Division responded and began an investigation that is still ongoing. The victim’s identity will not be released until all family has been notified.
