Sally Mathews, 75, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Paris Healthcare Nursing and Rehibition.
She was born Saturday, December 6, 1947, in Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Ray and Ruth Pitcairn. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter: Cynthia Marie Mathews Kissinger.
Mrs. Mathews was a member of First Baptist Church of Dover.
She enjoyed playing the guitar and was previously a member of a band.
Sally was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her beloved husband, of over 50 years: Michael Mathews; grandchildren: Sarah Ernsberger, Ben Ernsberger, Michael Cade Ernsberger, and Ruthie Kay Louise Kissinger; brothers, Ray Pitcairn, Jr. (Robin), David Pitcairn; and sister: Tina Monahan.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Dover with Bro. George Miller officiating.
