
Ann Snider Carter, 73, of Paris, died Saturday, May 13, 2023, at her residence.
Born Monday, November 28, 1949, in Milan, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Basil Gordon Snider and the late Pauline Reid Snider.
Ann spent many years as a pharmacist, having worked as co-owner/ operator alongside her husband at Watson’s Pharmacy; the Henry County Medical Center Pharmacy, and finally retiring from Fred’s Pharmacy.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed playing golf, swimming, being outside, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Ann was married March 31, 1973, to Terry Carter, of Paris, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her daughters: Terri (Aaron) Fisher, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Paula (Jonathan)Bell, of Paris; four grandchildren: Lauren Fisher, Matthew Fisher, Jon Carter Bell, and Katie Bell; and a sister: Jane (James) Robertson, of Paris.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St.,/ P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tennesseee, 38242.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 15, 2023, at Ridgeway Funeral Home from 4 until 7 p.m. and continue Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the First United Methodist Church 101 E. Blythe St., Paris, Tennessee, 38242, after 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Joy Weathersbee, Rev. Caren Teichmann, and Dr. Rob Martin officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Phillip Wells, John Dale French, Danny Veazey, Terry Murphree, Dr. Ray Compton, and Gary Benton.
Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.
