
Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Memorial Day service will be held at 8 a.m. Monday, May 29, on the courthouse lawn.
Ann Smith will serve as Emcee and Steve Erffmeyer from American Legion Post 89 introduce the March on Colors. As in the past, all veterans’ organizations will be participating. Patriotic music will be performed by Joel Taylor. The names of each veteran who passed away during the past year will be read.
The Tennessee State Color guard will be conducting a military funeral. Mark Grogan will explain the Missing Man Table. Pastor Mike Robertson will lead the opening and closing prayers. All organizations will lay the wreaths at the Veterans’ Memorial on the lawn.
After the program the Annual Flag Walk will be at the American Legion Post 89, with the Two Bell Ceremony and then lunch.
