Mayfield, Ky.–Mayfield City officials said they are thrilled to celebrate Osmundson Mfg. Co.’s groundbreaking ceremony with Governor Andy Beshear and community leaders. Osmundson broke ground on their new 150,000 sq. ft. facility that will support 80 high paying jobs throughout Mayfield & Graves County. This is the company’s first expansion outside of their hometown of Perry, Iowa, where they have been for over 100 years. Osmundson is the only United States manufacturer of high-quality disc, coulter, seeder, and grain drill blades. City officials said, “We couldn’t be more honored to have this 5th generation family- owned business join ‘plant their roots’ in our community!” Mayfield was devastated by a tornado which destroyed government offices, businesses and homes in 2021.
