Murray, Ky.–Thanks to dozens of community volunteers, the newest downtown mural in Murray is finished. Main Street Murray called for a paint party Saturday and the people really showed up. The mural proclaims, “Murray, Kentucky. Feels Like Home.” Main Street officials said, “Thank you to Elias Reynolds Art for sketching, painting and helping our community paint. Thank you to Murray Supply Company, Inc. for the cooker., Tigrett & Pennington Insurance for providing lunch, Judy Futrell for the delicious cookies, Paint Plus Flooring for the paint, Freddy’s painting and CDM construction for prepping the wall, Crawford Equipment Rentals for providing the lift, Helix Creative for designing the mural and Shane Lee Btq for allowing us to paint the wall.” Main Street Murray photo.
