
Several Obion County residents were among students who received degrees from the University of Tennessee at Martin during spring commencement ceremonies held May 6, 2023. UT Martin hosted two in-person commencements to recognize the accomplishments of the class of spring 2023. Each commencement was livestreamed via Facebook and YouTube for those unable to attend.
The students receiving undergraduate degrees were:

- Rives – Gray T. Batey; Britney Nicole Payne; Alli Katherine Shaw.
- South Fulton – Jenna Danielle Arnold; Audri Ann Hill; Makenzy Grace Crawford.
- Troy – Reagan McCall Griffin; Katelin Elizabeth Jones; Chaunte Chemere Reid; Melissa Rae Virgin.
- Union City – Austin C. Atwill; Rebecca J. Beachum; Brandon Beard; Hunter Ross Becknell; Andrew Morris Easley; Nolan Chase Gregory; Justyn I. Johnson; John David Kersey; Hali L.
