The City of Paris will host the public input session on the planned application for an inclusive playground and facility grant Monday. The session was postponed from last week due to a conflict with the Henry County Medical Center’s community forum.
The city’s public input session will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, at the Paris City Hall Meeting Room, 100 North Caldwell St. The city’s Americans With Disabilities Board will conduct a meeting at 5 p.m. preceding the public input session.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss, inform, and gather ideas and suggestions for an inclusive playground and facility grant. The purpose of this grant is to provide children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a safe place to play and learn alongside others who may or may not have disabilities as well.
City officials plan for the playground to be located at Ogburn Park.
