Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Sheriff Josh Frey said the sheriff’s office thanks the generous citizen who donated 13 AED units to the sheriff’s office. The donor wishes to remain anonymous.
Frey said the Citizen learned that the sheriff’s office was short of outfitting all patrol units with AEDs and purchased the 13 units to enable the department to have an AED unit in each and every one of its frontline patrol cars.
The AEDs were donated in memory of Ruthey Banister who worked in the medical field.
Frey said, “The donor wanted to pass on Ruthey’s legacy of saving lives. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is very appreciative and grateful of the very generous donation.”
