
Paris, Tenn.–The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released the report of Tuesday’s fatal pedestrian accident in downtown Paris.
Sgt. Caleb Cooper apologized for the delay in issuing the report, noting, “It took some time to locate and notify next of kin” of the victim.
The victim in the accident was Pamela Posner, age 72, of Indiana. RadioNWTN has learned that Ms. Posner was living in Camden at the time of the accident.
According to the report, Floyd Yarbro, age 78, was turning left onto West Wood Street from South Market St. and struck Ms. Posner in the crosswalk. Yarbro was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured.
The accident was investigated by Paris Police and the THP.
