Paris, Tenn.–On the 90+ degree day Tuesday, volunteers with Second Harvest shared bottles of cold water as they welcomed 76 families who waited in the parking lot of Paris First United Methodist Church to receive food. Five days ago, nine volunteers helped at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Camden. Two tons of food was sorted and packed, including hundreds of pounds of apples. This will provide 3,287 meals, or enough food for 822 families of four. (Elyse Bell photo).
