Driver Injured After Vehicle Pinned Against Tree

Henry, Tenn.–First responders removed the driver from his vehicle after it was pinned against a tree Thursday morning. He was transported to Henry County Medical Center.

Emergency personnel were called to the area of 2215 Van Dyke Rd. around 8:45 a.m. and found a Chrysler 300 pinned against a tree after striking a guardrail.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report released Saturday morning, Driver Dustin Hoopers, age 25, of Tennessee, was injured and transported to the hospital. His condition was not available. THP reports only list the state of residence, not the city.

According to the THP, charges are pending.

Responding to the scene was the Henry County Volunteer Fire Department, Henry County EMS, Henry Police Department and the Henry County Sheriffs Office.
