Camden, Tenn.–It was a special evening at Missionary Grove Baptist Church in Camden. In fact, it was ‘An Evening with Chase McGrath’, the University of Tennessee player who kicked the game-winning field goal in Tennessee’s 52-49 victory over Alabama last October.
The event was a gala to support Hope Center Ministries of Camden and it included a question-and-answer session with Crispin Powley. During the evening, McGrath not only spoke about the special moment last season, but his strong faith in God that has allowed him to overcome challenges and obstacles both as a player and other aspects of his life.
McGrath took time to sign autographs and pose for photos with fans and he also displayed the football he kicked last year to give Tennessee the victory of Alabama.
Also during the evening, an auction was held which raised over $51,000 for Hope Center Ministries. Eldon Wimberly and Keith Arnold served as auctioneers.
