Henry, Tenn.–The Henry Pioneer Day will be held Saturday, September 16 with a major change.
Pioneer Day will start at noon this year instead of in the morning, with the parade kicking everything off. The parade will have the same route as other years, starting at the Henry Elementary School.
The rest of the day, activities will be concentrated in the park near the new Henry Civic Center. Activities will include the cake walk at 12:30 p.m.; bingo from 2-6 p.m.; a corn hole tournament from 2:30-6 p.m.; the band Quest will perform from 6 to 8:45 p.m.; the raffle drawings will start at 8:45 and the fireworks start at 9. Bouncy houses and games will be set up.
The annual Pioneer Day is a fundraiser for the Henry Volunteer Fire Department.
