Brownsville, Tenn.–Agents with the West Tennessee Drug Task Force criminal interdiction unit out of Memphis conducted a traffic stop of an 18-wheeler on I-40 in Haywood County late Tuesday night. A probable cause and consent search of the truck produced U-Haul boxes nearly filling the entire sleeper containing 307 pounds of marijuana. The street value of these drugs is approximately $1,075,000.00. The marijuana was seized and one previously convicted male is in custody. (Drug Task Force photo).
