Arthur Robert Anttila, 73, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 1, 2023, at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was born Saturday, July 1, 1950, in Drasneck, New York, to son of Artie and Ruth Greenlaw Anttila.
Arthur retired after 45 years as an Ice Road Truck Driver, driving in Canada and Finland.
He loved fishing and tinkering in his garage.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and loyal friend to many.
Arthur was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Dover, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife: Helen Anttila; daughters: Marie Anttila of Connecticut, and Kateryn Anttila, of London, Ohio; brothers: Bill Anttila and Mark Anttila, of C0nnecticut; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
