Paris, Tenn.–Scarecrow Classic Race Organizer Jay Hosford reads the names of the winners of the annual 5K/1K run and walk Saturday at the Atkins-Porter Rec Center. The event drew a record of over 60 runners and walkers and is held each year as a fundraiser for the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Botanical Garden in Jackson St. The course of the race went right through the garden for those who haven’t seen it yet.
