Karen Marie Henderson Smith, 62, of Paris, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, at TriStar Medical Center in Nashville.
Karen was born Monday, May 22, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, to Clandus Smith and Mary F. Henderson Smith, both of Paris, Tennessee. Karen was preceded in death by her grandparents: Luther & Lottie Henderson; step-sister: Ava Joanne Smith; aunt: Betty Fairchild; and uncle: Ricky Henderson.
She loved people and enjoyed her church and her church family.
Karen was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her step-sister: Marlene Gail (Michael) Piccolo, of Rochester Hills, Michigan; aunts & uncles: Martha Watkins, Frank Henderson, Billie (Wanda) Henderson, Linda Hudgins, and Kenneth Henderson.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Smith of Fairview Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Foundry Hill Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2023, and after 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023, until service time all at McEvoy Funeral Home.
