Cincinnati, Ohio–Tanner Hudson definitely left his mark in his debut on the active roster of the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday night.
Hudson of Big Sandy, is a Camden High School graduate, and caught four catches for 45 yards in the Bengals’ 24-18 win over the Bills in Week 9. Three of those catches went for first downs. He came away with tough catches and looked like a beast getting those tough yards after the catch.
And he received a lot of love from the commentators and sports reporters covering the game.
The Bengals signed Hudson to their active roster on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
Bengals Quarterback Joe Burrow likes what Hudson brings to the offense. Burrow said before the game Wednesday, “He brings an element that is exciting. He’s tough, hard working, really good in the pass game, really good pass catcher, good after the catch. He’s gonna bring an element that we’re excited about.”
And after the game, Burrow said, “Those guys were awesome today. They really stepped up. Tanner (Hudson), Irv (Smith Jr.), Drew (Sample), Mitchell (Wilcox) — they all made big plays for us, so we’re going to need more of it.”
