Paris, Tenn.–The annual Henry County Veterans’ Day Parade will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 11, with Grand Marshal Dale Hubbs.
Organizer Ann Smith said the route will be the same as before, starting at the Henry County Fairgrounds and moving down East Wood St. to Pennyslvania Ave. Lineup starts at 9 a.m. at the fairgrounds and be there no later than 10:15 a.m.
Hubbs is a member of the American Legion Post 89  and is also a member of the American Legion Riders Group.
Something new this year: The schools participated and 12 children drew posters for the flyers used this year. The winner will be riding behind the Grand Marshal with their poster and the other kids will be on the float with their posters, too.
It is not to late to get in the parade just call 731 363 0114 or the court house at the Veterans’ Service office 731 642 5055.
If it’s raining, the parade will be cancelled. No rain date planned.
