Stewart Co. Deputies, K9 Assist In Erin Arrests

Erin, Tenn.–On Tuesday night November 14th, Erin Police Officer Josh MacDonald during a traffic stop on Hwy. 49 discovered drugs in the vehicle occupied by a male and female. While taking them into custody the female fled on foot.
Erin Police Department requested help from a K-9 and off-duty Sgt. Robbie MacDonald and K-9 Harry responded along with Sgt. Charles Fisher, Cpl. Matt Campbell and Cumberland City Police Officer Zack Hawk as well as Erin Police Chief Mark Moore.
Stewart County’s K-9 Harry was deployed and within minutes tracked the female subject to a creek where she was found hiding under an overhang in the bank. The female was taken into custody. She was found to have multiple felony warrants on file from Indiana and Kentucky for Dangerous Drugs and Criminal Impersonation.
Arrested was John Bric of Palmyra and Shannon Duga of Henderson Kentucky.
Stewart County Sheriff Frankie Gray said, “Good job by Erin Police Officer Josh MacDonald at getting these individuals off the road and protecting the people of Houston County. Also a great job by Cumberland City Police, Stewart County Deputies, Sgt. Robbie MacDonald and as always great job K-9 Harry, bad guys can’t get away from his nose.
