Officials with Gibson Electric Membership Corp. said they still have 476 members in north Gibson County who are still without power. Their crews and those from Service Electric and Cruse Powerline Construction have worked hard and made good progress, but the damage is extensive and repairs are time-intensive.
Workers were sent home early in the morning for some much needed rest and have already started work again this morning. Officials said, “They will be more productive in the daylight. We are very sorry for the lengthy outage and the inconvenience it causes, and we are grateful for your continued patience and support. We will get service restored to everyone as soon as safely possible and we will continue to communicate our progress tomorrow.”
