
Dresden, Tenn.–The National Weather Service in Memphis has announced the storm that hit Dresden yesterday was an EF-1 tornado with 110mph winds and was a continuation of the tornado that struck Gibson County. This is the latest word from the Weakley County EMA.

Latest structural damage report after December 9 Clarksville tornado
As of 11:55 a.m. today, Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency reports that Clarksville has 65 structures that have minor damage, 339 with moderate damage, and 271 with major damage making them uninhabitable.
There are 91 structures that are totally destroyed based on the latest assessment from EMA.
The vast majority of these structures are residential dwellings. Numbers continue to be gathered.
Three people died in Clarksville in the tornado and multiple people were injured.
