Mayva’Leigh Jo Eggers, 3, of Paris, died Monday, December 18, 2023, at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mayva’Leigh was born Thursday, August 6, 2020, in Paris.
Mayva’Leigh was a child who marched to the beat of her own drum.
She loved to dance and sing, take wagon rides, and play with her brothers and sisters.
Her beaming personality brought light and happiness into any room or situation she entered.
Survivors include her parents: Samantha (Devaris Haymon) Eggers, of Paris; sisters: Makenna Eggers, and Karma Clark; brothers: Maleque Jackson, Marrius Jackson, and Kash Haymon; an aunt: Charli Eggers, of Paris; grandparents: Diane Byrns, of Henry, and Randy (Heather) Eggers, of Michigan; her great-grandfather: Ray Thomas, of Texas; and the K Crew cousins.
Additional survivors include her father: Mitchell Shearer and his family.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ P.O. Box 788 Paris, Tennessee, 38242, will be handling the arrangements.
The body is to be cremated with no public services held at this time.
Memorials may be made to Easton’s Angels P.O. Box 1371, Paris, Tennessee, 38242. A portion of donated funds will be used to purchase wagons to be given to the Cardiac Floor at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital to honor Mayva’Leigh’s love for wagon rides.
