Dover, Tenn.–Fort Donelson National Battlefield roads, the Visitor Center, the Dover Hotel, and other resources will open at 10:30 AM, providing our crew time this morning before hand to address some identified needs.
They had our high of the day (30 degrees) early this morning. Temperatures are to drop throughout the day, down to single digits by evening.
For those visiting the area, please remember – it is winter in Tennessee, so whether driving park or area roads, please use extra caution, travel slower, and watch out for others.
If exploring on foot – Please dress appropriately for extremely cold conditions and have proper footwear and carry snacks and water to keep your energy up and hydrated.
