Paris, Tenn.–With the $11,226 raised over the weekend by the county’s educators, the grand total raised for the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $91,789.
Auctioneers Saturday were Jamie Orr and Amy Veazey for the day-time auction and Wendy Barhorst for the night-time auction.
The Henry County High School Soccer team volunteered Saturday, too, helping organize the slates and helping bring donations inside the auction site at the Paris Convention Center.
Items donated today (Monday, January 22) will be from Project Bridge, HCHS Madrigals, the Inman Beta Club, and Quinn Chapel AME Church. Ray Compton will be the auctioneer and the Athena Delphian Club will be manning the phones.
You can listen and bid to both on our station WHNY 104.7 FM and 1000 AM. You can see the slates on the Henry County Helping Hand website. Or you can watch in person at the Paris Convention Center.
