LIFELINE To Host Annual “Gift From The Heart”

LIFELINE Blood Services will host their Annual “Gift from the Heart” Blood Drive at their Dyersburg Center on Saturday, February 10 from 8am-4pm. Located at 1130 HWY 51 Bypass Suite 19 & 20, the Center will offer a drawing for a dozen red roses from Geraldine’s Florist and a $100 gift card from Mousto’s Pasta and Grill. Every donor will receive a donor t-shirt and a box of chocolates. 

 

Additionally, the LIFELINE Blood Services located in Jackson will host their “Gift from the Heart” blood drive on Thursday, February 15, from 9am-6pm, at 183 Sterling Farms Drive. At this drive, donors can register to win a one night stay at DoubleTree Hotel and dinner for two at TWIST, a dozen red roses from J. Kent Freeman Floral Design and Gift Company, dinner for two at Old Town Spaghetti Store, and Ronaldo and Julie Vos jewelry from Robert’s Jewelers. All donors will receive a donor t-shirt and a sweet treat from Two Sister’s Bakery. 

 

“LIFELINE wants YOU to be our Valentine! We invite you to give a gift from the heart and donate. You never know if you could be the one who will save the life of a friend or a family member!” said Melinda Reid, Marketing Manager with LIFELINE Blood Services. 

 

LIFELINE provides blood services to 21 West Tennessee counties, including 18 hospitals and 14 emergency helicopter service locations and 1 ground ambulance service. Annually, the Center collects approximately 26,000 blood products (red cell units, platelets, plasma, etc.) to meet the needs of patients. Of that total, 75% of those products are usually collected on the bloodmobiles across West Tennessee. LIFELINE also provides reference lab and cross-matching services to healthcare facilities.
