Puryear, Tenn.–An old barn in rural Puryear was destroyed Sunday in a fire and the cause is still being determined. A Puryear Fire Department firefighter said thankfully there was nothing stored in the barn “and we really don’t know what caused the fire”. The fire spread into a field but the firefighters were able to contain it from spreading further. (Sha’ron Wood photo).
