
Paris, Tenn.–Another big day at the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction and another milestone achieved. The year=-to-date total went over the $200,000 mark today–$203,424 to be exact.
There were 25 slates and high bids, which brought in $6,899. Today[s items were donated by the Veterans’ organizations, VFW Post, Amvets Post, Darkhorse Lodge, American Legion and the Paris Elks.
Wednesday’s items will be donated by Walmart, Covenant Ranch, New Wave Buddy Ball, Plus, and Tennessee Valley Board of Realtors.
On Thursday, items will be donated by Fairview Baptist Church, the HCHS Speech Team, the HCHS Swim Team and the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Association.
Friday’s items will be donated by the Paris Soccer Club, Henry County Cemetery Committee, Henry County Archives, Henry County Genealogy Society and the Henry County Chamber Music Society.
Saturday will be one of the biggest days so far, when the First Baptist Church donates items.

Helping Hand runs from January 8 through February 28 and raises thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit and public service organizations. Last year was a banner year, with a record-setting $519,630 raised.
