Mr. Darris Nash, 95, died at AHC Union City, Tuesday, February 15, 2024.
He was born in Henry County Thursday, July 19, 1928, to Lossie and Lindy Douglas Nash. He is preceded in death by his parents; a twin brother: Douglas Nash; and a brother: Joe Smith.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, a retired heavy equipment operator for Replogle Lumber and Garland Ellis, and a yard man, mowing several yards every summer.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Annette Moore Nash; a daughter: Jane (Joe Pat) Moody, of Buchanan; two sons: Ricky (Linda) Nash, of Paris, and Steve Cantrell, of Jackson; three grandchildren: Damon Nash, Kim Watson and Blake Cantrell; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Nash are Monday, February 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Sunday, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and Monday 11 a.m. until service time.
The interment is at Olive Branch Cemetery, Como, Tennessee.
Brother James Hazlewood is the officiant and Marco Taaffe, Connor Viana, Blake Cantrell, Chris Singleton, Flynn Watson, and Damon Nash are pallbearers.
