Mrs. Lottie Hestella Adkisson, 104, died Monday, February 19, 2024, at her residence.
She was born in Henry Co., Tennessee, on Tuesday, June 3, 1919, to Oscar Hilliard and Mary Jane Atkins Williams.
She was a member of Wingo Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her husband: Ethridge Henry Adkisson; and two children: Mattie Eugenie Taylor, and Oscar Priest Adkisson.
She is survived by her children: Mabel Irene Kelly (Billy ), of Greenfield, Mary Hestella Brown, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Angelene Moore (Robert), of Lexington, Kentucky, Lula Bell Williamson, of Detroit, and Earl Ethridge Adkisson (Lurlene), of Atwood; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Adkisson are Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Wingo Missionary Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
The interment is at Wingo Cemetery.
