William Fred Kendall, 75, of Collierville, Tennessee, formerly of Henry County, died Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Buchanan, Tennessee.
Fred was born Sunday, November 28, 1948, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Tom Kendall and the late Elizabeth Simmons Kendall.
Fred retired as the owner of Jeans LTD in Collierville.
He enjoyed building houses and spending time on the farm.
He was married Wednesday, June 17, 1970, to Jeanne Edgman Kendall, who survives, of Collierville, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son: Robert Bryan Kendall.
Along with his wife, he is also survived by two children: Ryan (Terry) Kendall, of Charleston, South Carolina, and Kim (Divo) Catozzo, of Denver, Colorado; one sister: Jane Kendall, of Buchanan, Tennessee; two brothers: Thomas Kendall, of Buchanan, Tennessee, and Eli (Deanna) Kendall, of Springville, Tennessee; one sister-in-law: Judy Edgman Steele, of Paris, Tennessee; one brother-in-law: Jerry (Janice) Edgman, of Paris, Tennessee; three grandchildren: William Kendall, Katie Kendall, and Cooper Catozzo; six nieces: Suzanne (Andy) Collins, Carrie (Mark) Dicus, Rebecca Alexander, Veronica (Johnny) Lickert, Tiffany (Jeff) Valentine, and Kira (Josh) Henson; two nephews: Ken Steele, and Brody Kendall; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.
The body is to be cremated.
Memorial visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the memorial service beginning at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Randy Stephens officiating.
