Troy, Tenn.–Carter Ayers, freshman at Obion County Central High, was named West Tennessee Regional Runner-Up in the FFA Creed Speaking Contest in February and will be competing at the Tennessee FFA State Convention March 24-27. Ayers is among six members across the state of Tennessee who will be competing in the Creed Speaking event. Carter is the son of Garrett and Rebecca Buchanan and Joel Ayers.
