Sue Lowery Witherspoon, 85, of Paris, Tennessee, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at Henry County Health Care Center.
Sue Witherspoon was born Monday, October 10, 1938, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Dewey Lowery and the late Maude Sanders Lowery.
She married Robert “Bob” Witherspoon Friday, July 1, 1955, and he preceded her in death Saturday, October 4, 2003. Besides her parents and husband, Ms. Witherspoon is also preceded in death by sons: David, James, and Robert Witherspoon; sisters: Margaret Brown and Peggy Carlene Marcum; and by brother: John Calvin Lowery.
Sue is survived by her daughter: Janice Buckle of Henry; son: Terry (Jackie) Witherspoon, of Paris; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Her body is to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
