
Paris, Tenn.–A Sunday afternoon argument led to the stabbing of a Paris man and the Paris Police Department’s Criminal Investiation Department is investigating.
Assistant Chief Ean Reed said at around 5 pm Sunday afternoon, officers were dispatched to an East Washington Street address on a call of a person being stabbed. When officers arrived, they found the victim outside of the residence bleeding profusely.
Henry County EMS was called to the scene and transported the victim to the Henry County Medical Center for treatment, and he was later transferred to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville for further treatment.
The Paris Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the incident and it is believed to be an isolated incident which occurred as a result of an argument between the residents of the house and guests.
