Paris, Tenn.–Students in Alicia Lassiter’s class at Rhea School viewed today’s Eclipse in their homemade glasses and seemed pretty amazed at the spectacle. Last week, students at Rhea learned facts about the moon and solar eclipses during their library time and the entire student population and staff enjoyed viewing the Eclipse today. In a drive through Paris during the event, you could find people on street corners, standing outside of businesses, at the W. G. Rhea Library, Eiffel Tower Park, TCAT, the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge, Paris Landing State Park and everyone was looking up. Shannon McFarlin photo.
