
Randall Sykes, 74, of Big Rock, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024.
He was born Friday, September 30, 1949, in Clarksville, Tennessee, the son of the late Grady Lee “Doc” and Mary Elizabeth Lancaster Sykes.
Randall was a proud Father and loved his girls unconditionally.
His life was richly blessed when he became a Grandpa. He loved his Grandchildren and spent many hours playing in the yard with them, spoiling them with his love.
Randall was a hard worker and provider for his family.
He retired from the Trane Company, Clarksville, TN after 42 years as a dedicated laborer. He was an Elected Union Steward and served as the Sargent at Arms with the IAM Swope Local Lodge 1296.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War stationed in Germany.
He enjoyed bass fishing with his buddies, squirrel hunting, yard work and gardening, sharing the harvest with his brothers and friends.
Randall was a loving and devoted Father, Grandpa, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, and loyal friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his wife: Pam Wallace Sykes and brother: Marvin Lee Sykes.
Randall leaves behind his beautiful daughters: Jennifer Biggs (Korey), of Bumpus Mills, TN, and Rachel Stall, of Dover, TN; precious grandchildren: Lilly and Ally Biggs, Riley and Emmitt Stall; brothers: Carl Sykes (Sue), of Dover, TN, Sidney Sykes (Anna), of Big Rock, TN; sister: Mary Ruth Bath, of Hoover, AL; many nieces, nephews and loyal dog:Smoke.
A visitation will be held at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 beginning at 11:00 am and continuing until the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Hart Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
