Nancy Swindle, age 77, of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at her residence. Her body is to be cremated and a celebration of her life will be planned for a later date.
Nancy Carol Gaither Swindle was born July 29, 1947 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Herman Gaither and the late Mamie Ellison Gaither. She married Clifford ‘Kip’ Swindle on January 14, 1966 and he preceded her in death on January 20, 2014. Mrs. Swindle is survived by her son, Michael (Brandi) Swindle of Paris; grandchildren, Skye Cutler, Devin Swindle, Sabrina Swindle, and Cassie Shawl; brothers, Jerry Gaither of California, twins, Lonnie and Monty Gaither both of Arizona; son-in-law, Ray Williams of Utah; loving niece and great-niece Jodie and Mikayla Courtwright of Arizona, and many other family members and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Nancy is also preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Williams, her brothers Toby Gaither and Ronnie Gaither, and her sister, Sherry Gaither.
Mrs. Swindle was a believer and a Christian by faith. She enjoyed shopping for antiques and was known as a wonderful decorator and designer. Nancy was a dedicated friend to many. She greatly enjoyed gatherings with friends and family and most especially loved her grandchildren.
